What a bittersweet moment for us. We hate to leave the most awesome neighbourhood in Ottawa but we made some choices for our growing family and we took an opportunity that knocked upon our door. We will be back Hintonburg, you have not seen the last of us.
First off, we want you to know how much we love this house, we had everything, and I mean EVERYTHING within two blocks of walking distance. There is this sweet upper deck on the house, that was all built to code, that we loved spending summer nights on. We had a BBQ up there, patio lanterns, flowers, a little deck garden... one night we even put a blow up mattress out there and slept under the stars. All in complete privacy. We could hear Bluesfest in the distance whenever it was happening.
