Hi friends,
Before we dive into the ghosts and ghouls, I want to take a moment to thank everyone for their patience this year. My step-dad passed away recently, and it’s taken me a little time to get back on my broom. The messages and excitement from all of you asking, “Where’s the map?” truly touched me. I promise, it was never forgotten, just brewing a little longer this year.
Now, the cauldron’s bubbling and the Explore613 Halloween Map 2025 is finally live!
Ottawa’s Original Community Halloween Map 👻
This is our sixth annual map, bringing together the best of Ottawa, Gatineau, and beyond — from haunted houses and spooky yard displays to pumpkin patches, community fundraisers, and Halloween attractions across the 613 and 819 area codes.
Whether you’re planning a trick-or-treat route, a family night drive to see the lights, or an adventure to discover the region’s scariest haunted homes, the map is updated daily with new submissions from residents and event organizers.

Not all Halloween fun needs a fright! Many homes across Ottawa and Gatineau create elaborate or themed displays to delight trick-or-treaters and families out for an evening drive.

Explore professional haunted houses, corn mazes, ghost walks, and ticketed Halloween attractions across Eastern Ontario. These events make great weekend adventures, and some even support local charities!

I love to see every kind of Halloween display - not just the elaborate ones! Simple, cute, and creative setups bring just as many smiles as massive yard productions (and they’re perfect for little kiddos too 🎃).
When you add your house to the map, include a photo if you can: it helps visitors decide which routes they’d love to explore. And please know: I add every single decorated house that’s submitted, not just the “most decorated” ones. That’s why the map uses categories and tags — so every home gets its own spotlight.
My family and I make it a point every year to visit almost every single stop (over 250 submissions in 2024!) — and if you need help photographing or filming your display, just reach out. I’d love to come by and meet more fellow haunters! 🕷️
Submissions are open to all area codes near Eastern Ontario — 613, 819, 343, 753, 468, 873, and beyond. If you decorate, you belong on the map.
